Toolbox Essentials:

1. HootSuite – A wonderfully sophisticated, dynamic, and useful social media dashboard that is easy to use!

Some of my favorite features: post scheduling, Hootlet (Chrome Extension), and keyword search streams.

2. HyperAlerts – If you are managing a Facebook fan page, this is a necessity—HyperAlerts sends you email notifications when there are new postings/comments on a page!

Favorite feature: Daily digest email function.

Other Tools:

1. Crowdbooster – A measurement and optimization tool that tracks and measures engagement levels on your social media channels.

Favorite Feature: Optimum posting time suggestions.

2. Tweriod – A brilliant application that tells you when your Twitter followers are online and active. Using their recommended windows, you can schedule content for times that you’re most likely to get engagement.
